Let me tell you mine..

I’m Sunny, a Quebec City photographer specializing in proposals, elopements, weddings, engagements, celebrations, and families.

Originally from China, I now call Québec City home. I speak Chinese, English, and French, and I love working with people from different cultures and backgrounds.

Before becoming a photographer, I studied journalism at Université Laval and worked in the magazine world. That experience shaped how I see people and stories - with curiosity, timing, and attention to what feels real.

Québec City is more than a backdrop in my work. Its historic streets, soft architecture, and changing seasons become part of the story, while the focus always remains on the people and the feeling of the moment.


My photography blends gentle direction with honest storytelling. I guide when needed, but I do not believe people need to perform for the camera.


I look for who they already are - the way they move, laugh, connect, and express love - and photograph those moments with care, timing, and intention.


Whether it is a proposal, elopement, wedding, engagement, pre-wedding session, or family portrait, preparation is part of the experience. I think through the timing, light, location, flow, and small details so the session can feel natural, personal, and beautifully taken care of.
