Engagement Photoshoot and our first in-person meeting.
Back in May, S&D came all the way to Quebec for a delightful mix of menu tasting and venue scouting from Washington DC, US. It marked our very first in-person meeting (we met on Zoom back in March). Our rendezvous took place at the Auberge Saint Antoine bar, which, incidentally, would serve as their wedding reception spot later on.
Let me tell you, it was an absolute blast! We chuckled and chatted for a solid hour over a single drink.
The following day was all about the engagement shoot, and it was nothing short of magical and absolutely necessary. With the upcoming wedding day jam-packed and Old Quebec bustling with summer activity, we needed to seize this golden opportunity in May for some precious couple time and stunning engagement photos.
August 5th, their wedding day.
Wow, what a whirlwind! After a couple of awesome Zoom meetings with the incredible planner, Sabrina, and our lovely couple S&D, we were all set and raring to go. Time really does fly, and guess what? Today's the big day!
I made my way to their room separately to snap those fabulous getting-ready photos. Then came the first look, a heartwarming close family shoot, some breathtaking couple photos, the ceremony, the lively cocktail hour, the fabulous reception, and of course, the dance floor extravaganza! A grand total of 11 hours on the clock, setting a new record for me as a wedding photographer.
Thanks to Sabrina's amazing planning skills, everything went off without a hitch. I managed to capture all the essential moments and the downright fun parts of the day. I've got to say, I have the absolute best job in the world! 📸🎉

My favourite part: Reception & Dance
There's something truly special about shooting wedding receptions and capturing those dance floor moments. The atmosphere is electric, filled with emotions and overflowing love from friends and family. As the stress of the day melts away, we get to savor and relish every single moment. It's where the magic happens, and I absolutely love being part of it! 📸💃❤️
