Emma & Landon
Emma and Landon first reached out while they were still deep in their law studies at Duke University. By the time we finally met in person, just two weeks after they had finished their bar exam, it felt less like meeting new clients and more like catching up with old friends.
Their dream was to bring their loved ones together in Quebec City for a destination wedding — and over 60 guests traveled from across the U.S. to celebrate this once-in-a-lifetime moment with them.
Moodboard
To bring their vision to life, I designed a mood board centered on three words: elegant, editorial, and storytelling. The tone we aimed for was clean, warm, and film-like—timeless yet full of feeling.
That inspiration carried through every part of their day, from the soft color palette to the refined details and the way we approached their portraits. It set the stage for a celebration that felt effortless, personal, and deeply connected to the story Emma and Landon were beginning together.
Importance
When I asked Emma and Landon what mattered most to them, they immediately said they dreamed of portraits in and around the Château after the ceremony. With their planner’s thoughtful timeline, we had the luxury to slow down—wandering through the halls and gardens, pausing for portraits, and letting candid moments unfold naturally.
The Vibe
For the reception, Emma and Landon added a group warm-up dance right after their first dance. It instantly set the tone—the energy lifted, the room filled with laughter, and everyone was on their feet, smiling and celebrating together.
A New Life begins.
